Short Update

I realize I keep making empty promises of updates and pictures. So here's a quick update with pictures to follow, hopefully next week. Black Friday has come and gone and the store did very well. I am blessed with a good management crew and strong employees (although there is always room for improvement). I am in the final weekend of my business law class, which I have really enjoyed. So next week I will have a little more free time as I will be taking a month off school for the Christmas break. However, after this Tuesday, I will be working at the store every day through Christmas. The craziness is almost over and I am very much looking forward to January and hopefully a vacation.

10 weeks of hell

I just got through ten weeks of statistics with my online classes, hence, the long gap since my last post. I am now in a business law class which requires more reading, but less overall work and stress than statistics. Be on the look out for some updated pictures of the young'uns soon, including Halloween and Johannah's first birthday.

Summer is almost over

Since we don't have kids in school yet it still feels like summer, plus it is still HOT outside (in the 90's with some humidity). We went to a couple of picnic parties this week and saw a great fireworks show and a "corn spider" the size of a golf ball. Mindy and the children continue to do well and are keeping busy with projects around the house. Mindy is currently working on painting our kitchen table and chairs; it looks great so far. I started another class last week, statistics, which is supposedly the toughest class in my degree. So for the next 9 weeks I will be hitting the books pretty hard as I want to maintain my A average. So I will attempt to post a few pictures in the near future and update y'all with the news in our lives. Here's an oldie, but goodie video of Jack.....He's laughing at a video game.

So I guess there are more than a few people who have no idea where we live now (especially since we've moved 3 times in less than 2 years). We are now in Lexington, Kentucky after stints in Lacey, WA and San Antonio, TX. Lexington is beautiful and we tried something new this go round......bought a house. We have a guest bedroom and a comfortable couch, so come on over!

I am still working for Sportsman's Warehouse, now as store manager. It is a challenging position, one that stretches me, but I am enjoying it nonetheless. Mindy has been able to manage our household and continues to be a wonderful mother and wife. She is quick to make friends and is in the young women's presidency at church. In our spare time we like to......wait, we don't have spare time.
